LULAC Lambda has awarded 15 scholarships totaling nearly $20,000 since 2018. We support local excellence by uplifting scholars who have a made a difference in school and in the community. Click here.

Our membership provides events for fellowship centered around culture, music and art. One popular event that we host is our annual Tamalada. Members learn how to make tamales from all over Latin America.

Mentorship
LULAC Lambda members volunteer at DC high schools to mentor Latinx youth with a professional speaking series, field trips to universities and community service projects. LULAC Lambda also funds an afternoon snack.
Our community is coming together
DC LULAC Convention
LULAC District of Columbia will host its annual State Convention on Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Festival Center, located at 1640 Columbia Rd NW. DC LULAC members are invited. Lunch will be provided.
